John Goodwin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John is currently serving as the Vice President of Growth at Appddiction Studio since February 2022. Prior to this, from September 2019 to February 2022, they worked as the Director of Business Development and Capture at Decypher. John also gained experience as a Real Estate Agent at Sharon Peters Real Estate from February 2008 to March 2020. Before that, they held the position of Business Development and Capture Manager at Inflow NS from November 2017 to August 2019. In addition, they worked as the DoD Business Development Manager at Salient CRGT from March 2017 to November 2017. From February 2016 to February 2017, they served as a Partner and Capture Manager at Information Innovators Inc. (Triple-i) and from May 2012 to January 2015, they worked as a Defense Solutions Business Development Manager at the same company, also holding the roles of Deputy Program Manager - Air Force and Jr Project Manager prior to that. John began their career at Grande Communications Networks LLC as a Network Operations Center from January 2000 to 2006.
John Goodwin completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Urban and Regional Development and Planning from Texas State University, attending from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they pursued Financial Management at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi from 1997 to 2000.
In addition to their formal education, John obtained several certifications. John became a Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2022. In December 2020, they received certifications in various coaching and leadership skills from LinkedIn, including Building High-Performance Teams, Coaching Employees through Difficult Situations, Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers, Coaching and Developing Employees, Coaching for Results, Persuasive Coaching, Ram Charan on Coaching High Potentials, and Using Questions to Foster Critical Thinking and Curiosity. Furthermore, in November 2020, John earned the CompTIA CySA+ (CS0-002) Cert Prep: The Basics certification from LinkedIn.
