Howard Smith

Howard Smith is a managing director at First Analysis, where they coordinate investment and research in broadband-enabled businesses and specialize in information technology business models. They have built several IT research franchises and have received recognition for excellence from the Wall Street Journal and other publications. With extensive experience in providing strategic advice on capital raising and M&A transactions, Howard has also served on the boards of multiple technology companies. Prior to First Analysis, they were a senior tax consultant at Arthur Andersen & Co. Howard earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
