Chris Walder

Chris Walder currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development for Sports in the EMEA region at Appear, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Chris was the Head of Business Development for Asia-Pacific at Eurovision Services from July 2019 to March 2024, focusing on the sports sector and collaborating with various stakeholders across multiple countries. Chris's extensive experience in the media and telecommunications industry includes a long tenure at Arqiva, where responsibilities included establishing an office in Singapore as Senior Vice President and managing sales teams globally as Head of Sales for Occasional Use. Earlier career roles included positions at GlobeCast UK and Linklaters. Academic qualifications include a BA Hons in French from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies from Aix-Marseille University.
