Melissa Ladd has over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources field. Melissa began their career in 1999 as an HR Consultant at the University of Melbourne. In 2007, they joined Aegeon as an HR Consultant. In 2000, they joined the City of Melbourne and held various roles, including Senior HR Consultant - Generalist, HR Business Partner, Senior HR Consultant, and HR Strategy, Governance and Planning Specialist. In 2022, they became the Manager of Customer Success at Appeggio.

Melissa Ladd obtained their Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Melbourne in 1995. Melissa then completed a Graduate Diploma in HR and IR from the same institution in 1996. In 1997, they earned a Master of Commerce in HR and IR from the University of Melbourne. Melissa went on to receive a Graduate Diploma in Management from Deakin University in 2006 and 2007. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from Lynda.com.
