Lara Rempel Smith

Lara Rempel Smith is a collaborative leader and organizer with strong communication skills and strategic management experience. They served as the Senior Director of Community Programs at Peninsula Family YMCA from 2015 to 2019, where they developed partnerships and expanded the department's budget significantly. Prior to this, they held leadership roles at Richmond District YMCA and Presidio Community YMCA, cultivating partnerships and supervising staff. Currently, Lara is a Program Manager in the Global Division at Appen, managing a portfolio of Data Collection projects and supervising a team of Project Managers. Lara is pursuing dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Dramatic Arts and Communication at the University of California, Davis.
