Michael Deacy is an experienced project manager with a diverse background in managing complex projects across various industries. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Appen since March 2019, Michael oversees the implementation of a 24x7 service desk utilizing an AWS cloud-based environment. Previous roles include project management positions at Siemens Healthineers, Bronx Community College, and GroupM/Xaxis, where responsibilities ranged from Windows Server migrations to software development and infrastructure projects. Michael's earlier experience includes significant roles at Unilever and Covidien, managing large-scale SAP deployments and disaster recovery planning, as well as serving as a liaison for IT in remote manufacturing facilities. Michael holds an MBA in Operations Research and a BBA in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College.
