Steven Jones

Steven Jones is a seasoned linguist with extensive experience in the field of natural language processing. Currently serving as a Senior Linguist at Appen since September 2015, Steven specializes in AI solutions for the US, UK, and EU markets. Prior to this role, Steven worked at Microsoft from August 2007 to 2015 as a Linguist in the Natural Language Group, where contributions included the development and testing of linguistic software for applications such as Microsoft Word and various Office products, focusing on technologies for spellcheck, thesaurus, and grammar checking. Steven holds an AM in Russian Studies from Harvard University and a BA in German and Russian from the University of Louisville.
