Marius Tuft has a diverse education history. Marius obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Industrial Economics, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed the CFA Program from the CFA Institute, specializing in Finance, from 2012 to 2016.

Earlier in their education, Marius earned their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU, studying from 2002 to 2007. Marius also had the opportunity to expand their knowledge through two visiting scholar programs. In 2015, they were a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on Economics. In 2013 and 2014, they participated in a visiting scholar program at NYU Stern School of Business, specializing in Strategic Management.

Additionally, Marius gained international experience as an exchange student at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, in 2006, where they studied Entrepreneurship.

In terms of certifications, Marius obtained the "Appfarm Sales Representative Specialization" from Appfarm in August 2022. Marius also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, awarded by the CFA Institute in June 2016.
