Steinar Lauritzen

Steinar Lauritzen has a wide range of work experience in various companies. Steinar is currently working as the CFO at Appfarm since February 2022. Before that, they co-founded and worked as a partner at YME Consulting from August 2017 to February 2022. At YME Consulting, they were responsible for business development, start-up investments, strategy development, operational and organizational improvement, and project management.

Prior to their role at YME Consulting, Steinar worked at Cardo Partners as a partner and management consultant from March 2012 to June 2017. Steinar'sresponsibilities at Cardo Partners included strategy development and implementation, operational and organizational improvement programs, M&A processes, and project management. Steinar became a partner at Cardo Partners in January 2015.

Steinar started their career at Ernst & Young as a senior associate/associate from August 2008 to March 2012. And prior to that, they gained experience as a summer intern at Capgemini in 2007.

Steinar's earliest work experience was at Aftenposten, where they worked as a team leader from August 2003 to May 2006.

Steinar Lauritzen's education history begins with their enrollment at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2001, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science for a year. From 2003 to 2006, they attended Buskerud University College (HIBU) and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Administration. In 2006, they enrolled at BI Norwegian Business School and completed a Master's Degree in Business and Economics, with a specialization in Siviløkonom, in 2008. The following year, they attended IE Business School, where they pursued an IMBA and took elective courses in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Strategy, and M&A. Finally, in 2009, they returned to BI Norwegian Business School and obtained a Master's Degree in Professional Accountancy, becoming a State Authorized Public Accountant.
