Tim Kurvers

Tim Kurvers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tim is currently working as a Platform Engineer at Appfarm since August 2021. Prior to this, Tim worked as a Senior Engineer at Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK) from October 2019 to January 2020, where they focused on revamping the website for NRK Super, a platform for children's content.

Before NRK, Tim worked at Hyper, a creative digital agency, as a Full-stack Developer from August 2011 to September 2019. During their time at Hyper, they handled a wide range of projects for high-profile Norwegian clients, including the Norwegian parliament, the central bank of Norway, and REMA 1000, among others.

Tim also has experience working as a Website & Software Developer at Softmedia from January 2007 to May 2011, where they designed and developed modern websites using various programming languages. Additionally, they worked as a Game Programming Assistant Tutor at Avans Hogeschool from February 2011 to April 2011, assisting students with their coursework.

Earlier in their career, Tim worked as a Programmer (Intern) at Ranj, a company specializing in serious games, from September 2010 to February 2011. Tim also held the position of Interactive Installations / Labday Assistant Tutor at Avans Hogeschool for a brief period from April 2010 to July 2010.

Before pursuing their career in programming, Tim gained experience as a Support Staff Member at eXtreme Message Board, where they assisted clients with installing and modifying their message boards, as well as developed modifications for users. Tim also worked as a Webdesigner & Content Manager for the Socialist Party, focusing on implementing a website redesign and SEO optimizations.

Overall, Tim Kurvers has a strong background in software development, website design, and project management, with experience in a wide range of industries and roles.

Tim Kurvers completed their primary education at Onder de Linde from 1992 to 2000. Following this, they pursued their secondary education at Dendron College from 2000 to 2006, earning an A-Level degree. Finally, Tim attended Avans University of Applied Sciences from 2006 to 2011, where they graduated with a Bachelor of IT in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.
