Ben Mayersohn, PhD

Ben Mayersohn, PhD began their professional career in 2011 as a Research Intern at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. In 2013, they began their PhD studies at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. In 2019, they joined Appfigures as a Data Science Intern, later becoming a Junior Data Scientist and eventually a Data Scientist.

Ben Mayersohn obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University in 2013. Ben then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Atmosphere Ocean Science and Mathematics at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, which they completed in 2022. Additionally, they hold certifications in Data Analyst in Python and Data Scientist in Python from Dataquest.io, which they obtained in May 2019.
