Piers Morgan

Creative Director at Appfire

Piers Morgan has a diverse work experience across various roles and industries. Piers started their career in 2007 as a Texture Artist at Jagex, where they worked on updating game assets for RuneScape. Piers then worked as a Camp Counselor at YMCA Camp Duncan in 2009 and as a Food and Beverage Assistant at University Golf Club from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Headline Talent Catering Assistant at Centerplate for the Vancouver Winter Olympics and Paralympics. Piers returned to YMCA Camp Duncan in 2010 as a Camp Counselor. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Jagex as a Web Designer and then as a Web Developer, producing digital assets for web and game interfaces. In 2015, they joined Fluent (Cambridge) Ltd as a UX Designer, involved in client pitches and web-based projects. In 2018, they took on the role of Lead Product Designer at Appfire before becoming the Creative Director in August 2020. Additionally, they run their independent design company, Digital Piers, where they design and builds websites for clients.

Piers Morgan attended Liverpool John Moores University from 2006 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in IT and Multimedia Computing.
