Russell Rupprecht

Russell Rupprecht has extensive experience in the tax and financial reporting field. Russell currently holds the position of Global Tax Director at Appfire. Prior to this role, they worked at FinancialForce as the Tax, Treasury, & Risk leader, where they built and managed the global tax accounting and reporting department. In addition, they were responsible for establishing company-wide policies to ensure tax compliance. Before FinancialForce, Rupprecht served as a Senior Tax Manager at Dropbox, where they played a crucial role in developing the global tax function reporting function during the IPO process. Prior to Dropbox, they held the same position at Shutterfly, Inc. Rupprecht began their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Tax Associate, specializing in financial reporting, compliance, and tax provision for multinational companies.

Russell Rupprecht earned a Master's degree in Taxation from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business in 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Seattle University in 2008. Additionally, Russell has obtained the CPA certification from the institution of California.
