Blake Herrington

Blake Herrington is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at AppFolio, Inc. since January 2016, Blake has progressed through multiple positions including Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Programmer Analyst at Qualcomm, where Blake developed customer-facing applications using Groovy/Grails and Backbone.js/Marionette. At Teradata, Blake contributed to the core development team, maintaining complex data structures and working on enhancements for Teradata DB. Earlier experience includes software engineering internships and technical roles at TrellisWare Technologies and Qualcomm, along with foundational work as a Student Network/Systems Analyst at Point Loma Nazarene University.
