Darragh Shorten

Darragh Shorten is a Platform Engineer at AppFolio, Inc. since January 2022, with a strong background in DevOps and technical support roles. Previous experience includes DevOps Engineer positions at NICE CXone and MindTouch, where significant contributions involved designing Continuous Integration tooling with AWS Lambda and automating infrastructure updates using Python and AWS CloudFormation. Darragh began a career in technical support at Safeguard Global and MindTouch, assisting customers with technical issues. Darragh co-founded InstantQS, a costing application for architects, and gained foundational experience as a Software Developer in Test Engineer at Intel Security, focusing on performance testing. Darragh holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Software Development from Munster Technological University, completed in 2017.
