David Shaw

David Shaw is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security leadership. Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer at AppFolio Inc. since June 2015, David has advised the leadership team and Board of Directors on technical risk while building the company's Information Security and Data Privacy teams. Previously, David held various leadership roles at Redspin, including Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Professional Services, where responsibilities spanned from application security to customer acquisition and project coordination. Earlier positions include Security Researcher at Secure Science Corporation and Network Security Analyst at Quadrant Information Security. David holds a degree from UC Santa Barbara.
