Janet Kerr

Janet Kerr is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Since 2015, Janet has served as an Independent Director at AppFolio, Inc., and Tillys, while also holding the same position at La-Z-Boy Incorporated since 2009. Janet is the CEO of Kerr Strategic Consulting, a role held since 2014, and previously acted as Vice Chancellor at Pepperdine University until August 2023. Additionally, Janet was Of Counsel at Nave & Cortell from 2014 to May 2019 and served as an Independent Director at Fidelity National Financial from 2016 to 2018. Janet produced the award-winning documentary REMAND in 2017 and held Independent Director positions at TCW Strategic Income Fund, Inc. and TCW Funds, Inc. from 2010 to 2016. Janet holds a Master of Laws in Corporate Law from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University.
