Scott Lowry

Scott Lowry is an experienced executive in internal audit and enterprise risk management, currently serving as the Vice President of Internal Audit at AppFolio, Inc. since February 2022. Previously, Scott held similar roles at Invitae, where internal audit and enterprise risk functions were established, and at AppDynamics, contributing significantly to the company's growth and eventual acquisition by Cisco. Prior to that, Scott served as the Internal Audit Director at VMware, where audit functions were developed during rapid revenue growth, and as Internal Audit Manager at Safeway, significantly expanding the audit department. Early career experience includes a managerial position at PricewaterhouseCoopers, focusing on Oracle Security and privacy compliance. Scott holds an MBA/MS in Finance and Information Technology from the University of Maryland and a BS in Economics from the United States Naval Academy.
