Simon Ibsen

Simon Ibsen is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in site reliability engineering and network infrastructure. Currently serving as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer and previously as a Staff Web Operations Engineer at AppFolio since April 2018, Simon focuses on developing SRE practices and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective application instrumentation. Prior experience includes leading the Engineering Computing Infrastructure at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and working in various systems administration roles within UCSB's College of Engineering, where responsibilities spanned from supporting high-tier computing services to architecture and maintenance of networking infrastructure. Simon holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from UC Santa Barbara and has been integral in multiple technology and engineering operations throughout an extensive career.
