Patrick Li has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Patrick began their career in 2007 as a Developer/Consultant at CustomWare Asia Pacific, where they designed and developed software solutions for customers. In 2010 they joined Macquarie Group as an Analyst Developer, where they supported and maintained existing cash based online transaction systems. In 2011, they became an author of nine Atlassian JIRA Administration books and a volunteer for IIBA. In 2012, they began extending Atlassian systems and in 2020 they became CTO and Lead Cloud Services Architect at AlohaCloud Digital Networks. At AlohaCloud, they work with Java, React, Redis, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Play Framework, SpringBoot, jQuery, Cloud Foundry, Amazon S3 Object Storage, IBM Cloud stack, Microsoft Azure stack, Okta, multi-directory authentications, SSO security designs, Reactive design, and many others.

Patrick Li has an educational background in Information Technology. Patrick attended Sydney Secondary College from 1997 to 2002. Patrick then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney, which they completed in 2007. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Sun Certified Web Component Developer from Sun Microsystems/Oracle in July 2010, Sun Certified Java Programmer from Sun Microsystems/Oracle in January 2010, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): SharePoint 2007, Configuration from Microsoft in June 2008.
