Daniel Bailey

Daniel Bailey is an accomplished software professional with significant leadership experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial settings. As the Software Team Lead at Appgate since January 2022, Daniel oversees software development initiatives. In addition, Daniel is the Founder and CEO of Fercent, an innovative software firm established in September 2016 that focuses on enhancing procurement processes through advanced technology and data analytics. Previous roles include Lead Software Engineer at Waverley Labs and Fortitude Systems, where Daniel contributed to critical projects funded by the Department of Homeland Security aimed at defending against Distributed Denial of Service attacks. Daniel's career also includes program management consulting at Fulcrum Corporation and engineering positions at Curtiss Wright and L-3 Communications. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Entrepreneurship from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Delaware.
