Abdullah Munawar

Abdullah Munawar is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in product and application security. Serving as the Director of Product Security at Appian Corporation since May 2019, Abdullah has held various leadership roles including Senior Manager of Application Security and Application Security Architect. Abdullah has also contributed to the cybersecurity community as the Northern Virginia Chapter Lead for OWASP since March 2015. Previously, Abdullah held the position of Director of Professional Services at nVisium and worked as a Senior Information Security Analyst at Navy Federal Credit Union. Abdullah began a career at SRA International, progressing to Senior Cyber Security Engineer. Abdullah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied IT from George Mason University, which was completed in 2007.
