Bill Lyons

Bill Lyons serves as the Vice President of Revenue Operations at Appian since 2025. Previously, Bill held the position of Global Head of Sales Operations at Board from 2023 to 2024. At Google from 2020 to 2022, Bill was involved in Sales Strategy and Revenue Operations, integrating Actifio operations and customers into the Google Cloud ecosystem following the acquisition. Bill’s earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of Revenue Operations at Actifio, where Bill worked from 2015 to 2020, including roles as Senior Director of Sales Operations and Director of Financial Programs & Services. Bill's career began at EMC, where Bill progressed through various finance and operations roles from 2007 to 2015. Bill earned an MBA in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and a BSBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
