Sean Finney

Sean Dawson is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing innovative software solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Udacity since September 2021, Sean previously held the same title at Udacity from August 2017 to November 2019, where a notable achievement included the development of a real-time chat feature for educational purposes. Prior to that, Sean spent several years at LinkedIn, starting as a Software Engineer and advancing to Staff Software Engineer, contributing significantly to the Network Updates platform. Early career experience includes roles at Texada Software, the University of Toronto, and pH Group, focusing on Java middleware, web application development, and neural network algorithms.
