Ying-Wei Chen

Ying-Wei (Willy) Chen currently serves as the Director of Corporate Development, Strategy & Partnership at Appier since August 2020. Prior experience includes the role of Investment Deputy Manager at Cathay Venture Inc. from November 2017 to August 2020, focusing on 25 transactions totaling $20M across Greater Southeast Asia. Ying-Wei also worked as an Investment Assistant Manager, sourcing over 200 deals annually while evaluating investments in the technology industry, particularly in Fintech and AI startups. Earlier roles include a Business Development Project Lead-Intern at Uber, where significant cost-saving contracts were secured, and Co-founder of Louisa Coffee Yongchun Branch, where operational efficiencies were achieved. Ying-Wei gained foundational skills through internships and completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Information Systems at National Chengchi University.
