Joost van Doremalen

Joost van Doremalen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Joost is currently working as a Full Stack Developer at Appjection - We're hiring! since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Freshheads from October 2020, where they held the position of Digital Strategist / Software Developer. Joost also worked at NovoLearning from September 2014 to October 2020, where they served as the CTO / Lead Software Developer. Before that, they worked as a PhD Researcher at Radboud University from March 2008 to May 2014. Joost'searly career experience includes working as a Software Developer at AskNow Solutions b.v. from 2006 to 2007.

Joost van Doremalen started their education at Norbertuscollege, where they pursued their VWO degree, specializing in Gymnasium, Science & Engineering. After completing their VWO, they enrolled at Radboud University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence & Cognitive Science between the years 2003 and 2006. Following their undergraduate studies, Joost continued their education at Radboud University and received a Master's degree in Language and Speech Technology from 2006 to 2008. Finally, they returned to Radboud University to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Speech Technology, which they completed from 2008 to 2014.
