Max Heck has diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as a Host at HEINEKEN. In 2012, Max worked as a Quaestor Collegii at L.S.V. Minerva. Afterwards, in 2013, Max returned to HEINEKEN as a Host. In 2014, Max interned at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in Corporate Strategy & Innovation, and then became a Senior Associate at High Potential Academy. In 2015, Max was a Student Assistant at Leiden University and later became a Project Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Netherlands, where they worked on promoting Dutch commercial interests in Southern China. In 2016, Max worked as a Working Student at MindGrind before becoming a Co-Founder of Appjection, a platform that helps people object to unjust fines using their smartphones.
Max Heck completed their education with a Master's degree in Company Law from Leiden University in 2016. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law & Business Administration from the same university, graduating in 2014. Max started their educational journey at Sint-Vituscollege Bussum in 2003 and successfully completed their Gymnasium degree in 2009.

Appjection is accessible to respond to queries from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each working day. Frequent fines are for speeding, running a red light, and improper parking. These always have the letter M in the top right corner and are issued by the CJIB. When appjection challenges a traffic ticket, the government reimburses appjection for the costs paidif people prevail.
