David Oreol has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. David started their career as a Software Engineer Student Intern and Associate Software Engineer at Dantel from May 1999 to January 2002. David then worked as a Photo Specialist at Sam's Club from April 2004 to May 2005. Following that, they served as a Merchandiser at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company from May 2005 to May 2008.
In 2008, David joined Racine's Locksmithing & Security as a Network and Computer Systems Administrator. During their time there, they managed a multi-site computer network, served as a temporary store manager, implemented a new email system, designed a new company website, and provided technical support to employees and customers. David left the company in September 2011.
Afterward, David joined Applause in December 2011. David started as a Test Team Lead and was later promoted to Test Team Lead Premier in August 2014. As a Test Team Lead, they managed teams of testers, improved the quality of bug reports submitted by other testers, guided and mentored testers, and collaborated with customers to resolve testing issues. During their tenure at Applause, they achieved notable recognition as uTester of the Year in 2012 and 2013 and was listed on the uTest Hall of Fame website. In March 2015, they transitioned to the role of Enterprise Test Team Lead, and in February 2017, they became a Test Engineer III.
