Shany Bilu has a diverse range of work experience. In 2013, they worked as a Technical Instructor and Training Development at the Academy for Computer Science and Cyber Defense (IDF), MAMRAM. From 2017 to 2017, they served as a Technical Support Specialist at John Bryce, where they were responsible for the deployment of advanced banking systems and providing real-time support to bankers. In 2018, they worked as a Technical Instructor at Appleseeds Academy. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Security Operations Center Analyst at BDO Israel, where they detected and documented cyber-attacks and performed proactive hunts. Starting in 2021, they joined Avantis Video, first as an Ad Operations Specialist responsible for managing technical operations and then as a Product Manager and CX Researcher, leading the product's development and customer-facing lifecycle. In 2023, they joined EasySend as a UX Researcher Intern, contributing to usability research and design. Currently, they are working as a User Experience Researcher at Applause, applying UX principles and enhancing client products' UX/UI through user feedback and usability testing. Throughout their career, Shany has demonstrated a strong focus on customer needs, product development, and technical expertise.
Shany Bilu's education history includes a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from Reichman University, which was obtained from 2022 to 2023. In 2023, Shany attended North Start Academy - Chen Shir to study Product Roadmapping - from strategy to practice, but did not complete a degree in this field.
Prior to that, Shany earned a Bachelor's degree in Information systems and project management from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo between 2017 and 2020. In 2018 to 2019, Shany also completed a program on HTML, CSS, and JS at Appleseeds | עמותת תפוח, specializing in Special Education and Teaching.
Earlier in Shany's education journey, from 2013 to 2014, they attended the Basmah - Academy for Computer Science and Cyber Defence (IDF) and acquired a degree in System Admin, focusing on Information Systems Technology.
