Thomas Kaftan

Thomas Kaftan has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and quality management. Thomas started their career at Bosch Rexroth as a Trainee Purchasing Quality Management PUQ from February 2016 to July 2016. Thomas then joined uTest, where they held various roles including QA-Tester Software from October 2015 to February 2016, Test Team Lead from February 2016 to July 2016, and Premier Test Team Lead from July 2016 to March 2017. Currently, they are working as a Software Test Engineer at Applause since March 2017.

Thomas Kaftan earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Fachhochschule Albstadt-Sigmaringen, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications, including the DHS Trusted Tester (Accessibility Testing) from the Department of Homeland Security in November 2022, the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) certification from GASQ in September 2018, and the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in September 2017.
