Ajay Gupta is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in machine learning and information intelligence. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Apple since December 2017, Ajay oversees Siri Search, Knowledge, and Web Answers. Previously, Ajay held the position of Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Apple, focusing on Siri Knowledge and Web Answers. Prior to joining Apple, Ajay worked at KLA-Tencor from January 1999 to December 2017 as a Senior Software/Algorithm Engineer in the EBeam and Optical Inspection Algorithms Group, and began a career at IBM as a Software Engineer from November 1996 to December 1998. Ajay holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, obtained between 2000 and 2004, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, completed in 1996. Early education was completed at Yadvindra Public School, Mohali.
