Akos Kokai

Akos Kokai is currently a Materials & Policy Innovation Engineer at Apple, where they focus on developing partnerships to promote safer materials in the electronics industry through chemical alternatives assessment and life cycle thinking. They previously served as a Chemical Information Consultant and held multiple roles at Apple, including Environmental Systems Design Engineer. In addition, Akos was a Graduate Student Researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and contributed as an Associate Specialist at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. They earned their degree from the University of California, Berkeley between 2013 and 2020.
