Alex Bujan

Alex Bujan is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Apple, where they implement advanced deep learning algorithms for natural language understanding and drive model evaluation initiatives. Previously, Alex worked as a Data Scientist and led a cross-functional team focused on developing infrastructure for data generation and model evaluation, significantly enhancing Siri's capabilities. Their academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Freiburg, where they conducted large-scale simulations and published in scientific journals, as well as ongoing studies in Biology at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Computer Science at the University of Birmingham. Alex has also gained experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Berkeley and an Insight Fellow, where they built impactful tools for medical image analysis.
