Alex Ce Zhang

Alex Ce Zhang, Ph.D., is a Senior Display EE Architect at Apple, where they work on future generations of display architecture for various products. Previously, Alex contributed to the successful launch of the iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max with the industry's first 120Hz ProMotion display. They also held internships at ViaSat, Intel Corporation, and MaxLinear, where they focused on RF system validation and circuit design. Alex earned their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, where they conducted extensive research in non-invasive optical detection and imaging cytometry. Additionally, Alex served as the founding president of the SPIE Student Chapter at UC San Diego.
