Ali Moin

Ali Moin has extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning, having served as an AIML Research Tech Lead at Apple from June 2025 to September 2022, focusing on AI safety and responsible AI. Prior roles include an AI/ML Researcher, where Ali worked on machine learning for time-series bio-signals, and an AI/ML Research Manager, leading a team of ten researchers and engineers in developing advanced ML systems for biomedical applications. Additional experience includes internships and research positions at imec in the Netherlands and the USA, and UC Berkeley, where Ali contributed to neuromorphic algorithms research. Ali holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and both a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
