Alistair McFarlane

Alistair McFarlane has extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors, having held key roles at several prominent companies. At Research In Motion from 2006 to March 2008, Alistair served as Director of Field Validation (Global), leading field test solution groups and overseeing operations across multiple regions. Prior to that, Alistair worked at ERA Technologies as a Conformance Engineer, managing test criteria and certification activities from February 1989 to October 1996. Alistair then transitioned to NEC Technologies UK Ltd, where leadership was provided to the Product Validation Group from October 1996 to August 2006. Since April 2011, Alistair has been with Apple in a global Field Design Engineering role, having initially joined the company in March 2008 to enhance engineering teams dedicated to cellular technology. Alistair holds a BA Hons in Engineering and Business Management from the University of Greenwich.
