Amanda Bertsch

Amanda Bertsch is an Engineering Program Manager specializing in Health Sensing at Apple, where they lead the project efforts for a machine learning-based algorithm for detecting atrial fibrillation on the Apple Watch. They successfully delivered Apple's first FDA-cleared ML-based algorithm. Previously, Amanda worked as a Product Manager at Stryker, developing a digital health mobile application and collaborating with cross-functional teams. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and dual Master's degrees in Translational Medicine from UC Berkeley and UC San Francisco. Additionally, Amanda was a professional figure skater, competing nationally and ranking 7th in the nation in 2012.
