Amin Khalek is an experienced engineer specializing in wireless technologies and ecosystems. Currently serving as a Cellular Baseband Modem Engineer at Apple since June 2019, Amin previously held the position of Staff Software Engineer at Intel Corporation from August 2015, focusing on baseband firmware algorithms and 5G NR. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Design Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor, where system-level architecture for LTE eNBs was developed. Amin also pursued a Ph.D. at The University of Texas at Austin, researching resource allocation and scheduling for real-time video, and completed a Master of Engineering at the American University of Beirut. An R&D Engineering Intern at Samsung Telecommunications America contributed to the development of RF precoding algorithms for mmWave antenna arrays.
