Amita Joshi is an experienced hardware engineer currently working at Apple since October 2025. Previously, Amita served as a Principal Member of Technical Staff and Senior Member of Technical Staff at QuantumScape from May 2022 to September 2025. Amita's prior roles include Materials and Process Engineer at Applied Materials, where the development of UV-curable inorganic material-based inks for AR/VR applications was notable. Amita also held various research positions, including Visiting Researcher at Berkeley Lab and Postdoctoral Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory, among others. Amita earned a PhD in Materials Science from University College Dublin from 2010 to 2014.
