Ananmay Jain is currently a college student studying Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, focusing on autonomous robotics, systems engineering, and computer networking. As the Software Lead at Illinois AUV, Ananmay oversees a team to develop an Autonomous Submarine for competition. They have previously interned at Apple as a Software Systems Framework Engineer and at Uber ATG, contributing to hardware acceleration and image processing projects. Ananmay has also served as a Project Manager for an honors class at their university, guiding students in computer vision projects. Additionally, they are working to launch their startup, Garuda, aimed at creating a self-healing mesh network of autonomous drones for wildfire monitoring.
