Andrew Watson

Andrew Watson is currently the Chief Vision Scientist at Apple, a role they have held since 2016. Previously, they also served as a Senior Vision Scientist at the same company. Andrew obtained a PhD in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Vision at the University of Cambridge. Their expertise encompasses vision science, psychophysics, display human factors, computational modeling of vision, image and video compression, image quality, and user study methods.
