Andy Schultz

Andy Schultz is a Failure Analysis Engineer at Apple, where they ensure the reliability of optical sensing modules for advanced hardware technologies. They previously served as a Managing Scientist at Exponent, supporting the consumer electronics industry through failure analysis and reliability testing. Andy earned a PhD and an MS in Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant studying functional oxides for energy applications. Additionally, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Energy Technology Laboratory, developing materials for advanced gas sensors.
