Ankur Sarker

Ankur Sarker is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles, specializing in Cyber-Physical Distributed Systems and data-driven Internet of Connected Things. With a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, Ankur has previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant at both the University of Virginia and Clemson University, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh. Ankur's ongoing research focuses on safety and security issues in connected autonomous vehicles and smart city planning, drawing from a diverse range of methodologies including machine learning and human-computer interaction. Additionally, Ankur is engaged in a role with Apple, concentrating on ML Sensor Fusion.
