Ariel Lipson is a seasoned Optics Engineering Lead with over 20 years of entrepreneurship experience in diverse industries including microelectronics, telecommunications, and life sciences. Ariel holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Optical Communication from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, as well as a PhD from Imperial College London. Previously, Ariel served as a Senior Researcher at General Motors, leading optics projects for autonomous driving, and co-founded Bio-Rad (ProteOptics), developing advanced life science equipment. Currently, Ariel focuses on innovating optical systems for driverless vehicles and advancing 3D Lidar technology at Apple.
