Arno Blaas

Arno Blaas is currently a Machine Learning Research Scientist at Apple, having joined in 2022. They previously held a PhD internship at Apple AI Research, where they focused on image augmentations, earning a Spotlight and an Entropic Paper Award at ICBINB NeurIPS 2021. Arno's past experience includes consulting at McKinsey & Company and conducting ML research at Man AHL, as well as internships at Rocket Internet SE and Deutsche Bank. They completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Machine Learning at the University of Oxford, following a Master’s in Mathematical and Computational Finance and Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Business Administration from Universität Konstanz and Universität St. Gallen, respectively.
