Ashis Pati

Ashis Pati is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Apple, where they focus on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and music technology. Ashis has previously held positions as an Audio Intern at Doppler Labs, where they developed hearing test algorithms, and as a Research Intern at Sony Computer Science Laboratories Paris, where they created deep learning models for music inpainting. They also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, developing models for assessing student music performances. Ashis earned a Ph.D. in Music Technology from Georgia Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
