Atulit Kumar

Atulit Kumar is a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Apple, with a career spanning from 2014 to the present, focusing on Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, and Deep Learning in the Synthetic Data Group. Previously, Atulit served as a Graphics Rendering Engineer, contributing to algorithms for Face ID on recent iPhones and iPad Pros. Atulit gained experience as a Lab Associate at Disney Research and held various positions at Carnegie Mellon University, including Graduate Student and Research Intern. A research internship at Intel Corporation involved performance analysis of the Xeon Phi architecture. Atulit co-founded and coordinated the Computer Graphics Club at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus, and completed a project generating 3D architectural designs for holiday homes during an internship at suchirindia hotels and resorts. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Entertainment Technology/Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and an M. Sc. (Tech.) in Information Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
