Ava Tan

Ava Tan is a Senior AR/VR Display Electrical Engineer at Apple, where they focus on  Vision Products. They received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2021, where their research involved nanoscale device processing, fabrication techniques, and reliability analysis of semiconductor devices. Prior to that, Ava earned a B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Cornell University in May 2016, complemented by a minor in Computer Science. Their past experience includes internships and research roles at Lam Research and various academic positions at Cornell University and Berkeley, contributing to significant advancements in nonvolatile memory technology and semiconductor characterization.
