Basir Noori

Basir Noori is an accomplished System SI Engineer at Apple since June 2025, previously serving as an Analog Designer II at AMD from May 2023 to June 2025, where responsibilities included the implementation of machine learning models within CAD flows and development of workflows for integrated circuit layout simulations. Prior experience at AMD as a Signal Integrity Engineer focused on developing electrical design rules and automating simulation processes through programming. Involvement with the IEEE McMaster Student Branch as a Computer Chapter member and MAC RoboMaster as a Control System Designer showcased skills in embedded systems and student support. Additionally, Basir served as a Teaching Assistant and Assistant Course Developer at McMaster University, focusing on programming instruction and the creation of a virtual reality app for educational purposes. Basir holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McMaster University, earned in 2023.
