Beiye Coco Li is a PhD candidate at the University of Chicago, focusing on excited state dynamics and light-matter interactions in solid state materials through advanced spectroscopy techniques. Previous experience includes serving as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, contributing to theoretical and experimental studies on dielectric properties of MAPbI3, and as a research staff member at Nanolumi, where significant advancements were made in display technology. Additional roles include an internship in Display HW Technologies at Apple, and a research scientist internship at Meta, characterizing optical properties for microLED applications. Beiye Coco Li has also held leadership positions, including vice president of the NUS ACS Student Chapter, promoting chemistry among students.
